The lift-off hinge B-1004-2-L (10565) connects doors or flaps releasably to a housing.

By lifting, the movable component can be separated from the fixed hinge part without loosening the fastening screws.

The left-hand version is intended for left-hand hinged constructions.

The SUS304 material and the mirror-polished surface offer high corrosion resistance for kitchen, marine and outdoor applications.

Six countersunk holes allow for flush and low-interference fastening with M3 countersunk screws.

When two hinges are used vertically, TAKIGEN specifies a door mass of 10 kg (23 lbs) as a reference value.

Assembly:

• The fastening is done with 6 M3 countersunk screws (not included in the scope of delivery)

• The distance between the mounting holes is horizontally 24 mm (15/16″) and vertically 24 mm (15/16″)
• First, the positions of the two hinge halves must be marked according to the left-hand opening direction and the six mounting points prepared
• The housing-side hinge half is fastened with three M3 countersunk screws
• The door-side hinge half is also mounted with three M3 countersunk screws
• Both hinge halves must be aligned so that the hinge pin can be inserted without tension
• Then the door or flap is placed on the hinge pin from above
• Finally, smooth operation, full engagement of the pin, and secure seating of all screws must be checked
