The cranked hinge TH-25SUS (2233) connects doors and flaps to housings where the mounting surfaces are not on the same level due to a step or greater material thickness.

Thanks to its cranked design, it bridges the offset between door and frame and allows for a clean and space-saving hinge connection.

The compact design of 35 mm (1-3/8″) x 25 mm (63/64″) is particularly suitable for smaller appliance, cabinet and maintenance doors.

All essential components, including the hinge pin, are made of SUS304 stainless steel, offering high corrosion resistance.

The polished hinge leaves also provide a high-quality and easy-to-maintain surface.

When using two hinges, Tochigiya specifies a reference door mass of 4.5 kg, which makes the TH-25SUS (2233) cranked hinge particularly suitable for light doors and flaps.

Assembly:

• Fastening is done with M3 pan head screws made of A2 stainless steel or 3.0 x 12 mm or 3.0 x 16 mm pan head wood screws (not included)
• The TH-25SUS cranked hinge has 4 mounting holes
• First, the positions of the two hinge leaves on the door or flap and on the frame must be precisely determined and the four mounting points marked according to the hole spacing of 15 mm (19/32″) x 25 mm (63/64″)
• Then, the necessary drillings or threads are prepared
• The stepped hinge is fastened with two fastening screws per hinge leaf to the door and frame
• The cranked shape must be aligned so that the existing offset between the two mounting planes is compensated
• Before finally tightening the screws, the door and frame must be aligned with each other and the free rotation of the hinge checked
• For a door weight up to the manufacturer's specified reference value of 4.5 kg, two TH-25SUS cranked hinges are provided.
