The TH-61SUS-1-0.8 spring hinge supports the automatic opening of flaps and light doors via an integrated spring in the hinge pin.

The spring force acts in the opening direction, thereby assisting in swinging open movable components.

In the free position, the hinge is at 90°, making it particularly suitable for equipment flaps, covers, and cabinet doors.

The construction made entirely of SUS304 offers high corrosion resistance and is also suitable for more demanding operating conditions and long-lasting technical applications.

Four mounting holes allow for simple and secure screw mounting.

Due to the compact dimensions of 32 mm (1-17/64″) x 25 mm (63/64″), the spring hinge can be integrated into equipment, housing, and machine designs in a space-saving manner.

Installation:

• Fastening is performed using 4 x M3 pan-head or round-head screws, preferably made of stainless steel (not included in the delivery)
• The TH-61SUS-1-0.8 spring hinge features 4 mounting holes
• First, the mounting points must be marked according to the hole pattern of 20 mm (25/32″) x 14 mm (35/64″), and the required mounting holes must be prepared
• The spring hinge is subsequently attached with one hinge leaf to the fixed surface and with the other hinge leaf to the movable flap or door
• The installation direction must be chosen so that the spring force acts in the desired opening direction
• Four M3 pan-head screws are suitable for fastening, or in the case of wood surfaces, ⌀3 mm screws
• The screws are to be tightened evenly without deforming the hinge leaves
• Finally, the flap must be moved several times and the desired opening action of the spring hinge checked (for further details, see Installation Drawing)
