The expansion bolt 5912805 connects furniture panels in combination with ⌀15 mm (19/32″) eccentric connectors in a concealed and precise manner.

When the eccentric is tightened, the integrated plastic segment expands radially and locks the connecting dowel in the ⌀8 mm (5/16″) drill hole without any play.

Galvanized steel provides high tensile and extraction forces, while the plastic segment compensates for manufacturing tolerances and ensures lasting hold.

The detachable system 5912805 allows multiple assembly cycles without wear and is ideal for dismantable furniture.

Assembly:

• First, an 8 mm (5/16″) hole with a depth of 11 mm (7/16″) must be drilled into the first furniture panel
• The expansion bolt 5912805 must be inserted into the borehole until its head is flush
• Then a 15 mm (19/32″) eccentric housing must be countersunk into the counter plate and aligned so that its slots point exactly to the screwed-in bolt
• Finally, the eccentric must be tightened by about half a turn; this causes the plastic segment of the connector pin 5912805 to expand radially and pulls both plates together permanently and without play (for further details see assembly drawing ).
