Assembly:

• First, drill a longitudinal hole with a diameter of 6 mm (15/64″) for an M6 screw and a depth of 30–40 mm, depending on the screw length, into the first component (e.g. a side wall).
• A cross hole with a diameter of approximately 10.1 mm (25/64″) and a depth of 15–16 mm is drilled into the second component (e.g. a cross brace), centered on the material thickness
• Then insert the cross dowel Ø10 × 14 mm with M6 internal thread into the cross hole
• The cross dowel is aligned using a slotted screwdriver so that the internal thread is perpendicular to the screwing direction of the screw
• Now insert an M6 screw through the longitudinal hole of the first component and screw it into the cross dowel
• By tightening the screw, both components are connected firmly and flush with each other; the cross dowel 6170105 must be firmly seated and must not rotate.
