Flap hinge with soft-close damper with damping effect in the opening direction of the hinge HG-JHW50 and HG-JHW70 from Sugatsune / LAMP® (Japan)

Application: These damped hinges can be used for various flaps and lids where it is desired that the flap closes with a damper (see drawing ). The flap hinges should be attached in such a way that the damping effect occurs when the hinge is opened (see application examples ). This short video demonstrates how the hinge works for a downward-opening flap: Assembly: The flap hinges HG-JHW50 and HG-JHW70 are designed for surface mounting, as shown in the possible applications . For the soft-close effective damping angle of 0-115°, the flap should be supported by a stop or by the body edge so that the hinge is not over-rotated. The flap can be mounted on top or inset . Included in delivery:
