The flap stay 1010321 (Microwinch) is a compact flap stay for downward opening furniture flaps and operates with a heavy-duty steel cable.

When opening, the mechanism brakes the downward movement of the flap, preventing it from falling down uncontrolled.

The end position of the opened flap can be adjusted, so that the opening path can be adapted to furniture and use.

The version with 4 kg (9 lbs) braking force is designed for flap heights from 210 to 480 mm (8-17/64″ - 18-57/64″); the permissible combination of flap height, flap weight and number of mechanisms is determined according to the selection table.

Since the cable flap stay 1010321 can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, and to the right or left, it can also be used flexibly in shallower furniture carcasses.

Assembly:

• Attachment is done using the six screws (Euro screws) included in the delivery
• The cable flap stay 1010321 has 2 mounting holes with ⌀6.5 mm at a distance of 110 mm; the separate flap connector also has two mounting points
• First, the appropriate number of mechanisms for the flap height and flap weight must be determined using the selection table
• Then, the mounting points on the carcass side are marked according to the desired horizontal or vertical installation position and pre-drilled for the mechanism with ⌀5 mm x 12 mm
• For a wooden or wood-based panel flap, two holes of ⌀5 mm (13/64″) x 13 mm and the central mounting hole of ⌀10 mm x 11 mm are made for the flap connector
• The flap stay and the flap connector are then installed with the provided mounting screws
• After that, the steel cable is connected to the flap connector and checked for correct operation. Finally, the opening end position is adjusted, whereby the flap should be relieved during adjustment (for more details, see assembly drawing)
