The HG-TB20 torque hinge set consists of a left (HG-TB20L) and a right (HG-TB20R) hinge for symmetrical, horizontally mounted flap guidance.

Each hinge generates a constant torque of 2 N·m, allowing the flap to be positioned steplessly within the appropriate load range.

Together, both hinges provide a nominal total torque of 4 N·m and distribute the load evenly on both sides.

The free-stop function holds covers, displays or equipment flaps in the desired position without additional locking.

The mirror-image left and right design ensures clean installation and stable, controlled movement in both directions of rotation.

The robust SUS430 stainless steel construction is particularly suitable for devices, furniture and technical installations.

Assembly:

• First, the mounting positions on the flap and on the cabinet or device housing must be marked and pre-drilled according to the technical dimension drawing
• The HG-TB20L is mounted on the left side and the HG-TB20R on the right side
• Both hinge axes must be exactly at the same height, horizontally aligned and flush with each other
• For the required alignment clearance, the mounting holes must be made slightly oversized with a tolerance of C0.5 according to the manufacturer's specifications
• The vertical legs are securely fastened with M5 countersunk screws and the horizontal legs with M5 pan head or cylinder head screws
• Then the flap must be operated over the entire range of motion and the secure positioning in different opening positions checked
