The HG-TB30 torque hinge set consists of a left (HG-TB30L) and a right (HG-TB30R) hinge for symmetrical, horizontally mounted flap guidance.

Each hinge generates a constant torque of 3 N·m, allowing continuous positioning of the flap within the suitable load range.

Together, both hinges provide a nominal total torque of 6 N·m and distribute the load evenly to both sides.

The free-stop function holds covers, displays, or equipment flaps in the desired position without additional latching.

The mirrored left-right design ensures clean installation and stable, controlled movement in both directions of rotation.

The robust construction made of SUS430 stainless steel is particularly suitable for devices, furniture, and technical installations.

Assembly:

• First, the mounting positions on the flap and on the cabinet or device housing must be marked and pre-drilled using the technical dimension drawing
• The HG-TB30L is mounted on the left side and the HG-TB30R on the right side
• Both hinge axes must be at the exact same height, horizontally aligned, and flush with each other
• For the required alignment clearance, the mounting holes must be made slightly oversized with a tolerance of C0.5 according to the manufacturer's specifications
• The vertical arms are securely fastened with M5 countersunk screws and the horizontal arms with M5 pan-head or cylinder-head screws
• Afterwards, the flap must be operated throughout its entire range of motion and its secure positioning in different open positions must be checked
